My Honest Review: HelloBaby HB66 Baby Monitor

I finally stopped procrastinating something that I really needed: a baby monitor. After moving to a 2-storey house, and my baby has completed 1 year, now was the right time. Particularly the napping time was becoming challenging: I couldn’t be too far away from his bedroom without being worried of not listening to him (doing the laundry in the basement, cooking or cleaning the main floor).

We've been reading a lot of reviews from several brands and we've got many recommendations from friends and one of them was the HelloBaby Monitor. The reviews on Amazon encouraged us to decide to go for it and here I am, writing my honest review, based on my experience.

What I liked the most:

• Remote control camera so I can clearly view my baby from any angle (I'm glad that now I can monitor both my kids that are in the same bedroom);

• Being a non-WiFi baby camera was definitely a MUST for us (privacy concerns surrounding WiFi);

• It has a two-way audio feature allowing conversation both ends as clear as if you were in the same room with your baby;

• I loved these smart features: the camera is equipped with a temperature sensor, allowing you to know your baby is comfortable and safe; and it soothes your baby by playing lullabies remotely as if you were in the same room with your little one (those were really a bonus!).

• It has a terrific sharp night vision;

• The setup is extremely simple to use: just like plug and play. The parent unit is powered by rechargeable battery giving us full mobility in the house.

HelloBaby HB66 has great value for its price. It comes with all the features that we were looking for and additional ones. I’m so happy that I don’t need to worry anymore of running to check (and wake him up) every time I heard the slightest sound. We are very happy and the monitor exceeded our expectations.
